About: Who We Are

WHO WE ARE

We are not a political party

We are an international think tank and membership network founded by a group of Nigerian professionals in the diaspora to advance principles of good governance, social justice and accountable leadership in Nigeria.

About: Who We Are

OUR GOALS

Our country is under attack from corrupt, illiterate geriatrics who continue to weaken our democracy and threaten our future as a nation. For the past 60 years, these individuals have only divided and subjugated Nigerians, and furthered their own sinister agendas.
Enough is enough. Our THREE key goals are:

1. GOOD GOVERNANCE

Raise a minimum of N1,000,000,000 to fund youth-led political parties aligned with our values and develop a blueprint for good governance in Nigeria ahead of the 2023 elections. To kickstart this fund, the members of NBP’s Steering Group have collectively contributed N2.6m and pledged to contribute monthly going forward.

2. INSPIRE & AWAKEN

Rally Nigerians (both at home and in the diaspora) to join us and support the election of young, competent and effective leadership for Nigeria in 2023 and beyond.

3. SOCIAL JUSTICE

Raise awareness on the international stage about past and ongoing human rights violations and atrocities in Nigeria with the sole aim of seeking justice for Nigerians.

WHY THE NIGERIAN BLACK PROJECT

NIGERIAN

We believe we are Nigerian first and foremost, and aim to build a country where national identity precedes state of origin or tribal identities. This is critical to Nigeria’s success.

BLACK

As Nigerians living in the diaspora, we are not immune from the consequences of our national struggles, which often manifest as anti-black racism, yet we remain black and proud. We reject colonial notions about our blackness and uphold the beauty, strength and dignity of our black heritage.

PROJECT

We are a coalition of Nigerian professionals (accountants, doctors, lawyers, scientists, writers and more) in the diaspora, united under one voice, one heart and one vision of a new Nigeria.

About: What We Do

'Youth can be the leaders of tomorrow — if we procrastinate.'
